Bank of Botswana Maintains Policy Rate at 5.5 Percent

On 29 October, the Bank of Botswana maintained its Monetary Policy Rate at 5.5 percent. The bank’s latest published indicators showed September inflation at 7.8 percent, down from 9.3 percent in August, while the one-month Bank of Botswana Certificate rate stood at 6.01 percent on 30 October.
